By accessing or using SwipeTally (accessible at app.swipetally.com and swipetally.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you are prohibited from using our application.

2. Description of Service

SwipeTally is a web and mobile financial utility that allows users to audit shared credit cards, connect bank feeds (via Plaid), upload receipts, and track recurring bills. SwipeTally is provided for personal, family, and domestic co-management use only.

3. Account Registration & Security

To use our app, you must authenticate using your Google Identity account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account credentials. SwipeTally cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security.

4. Financial Connections & Third-Party Services

SwipeTally integrates with third-party providers (like Plaid) to connect to your financial institutions. By connecting your accounts, you authorize SwipeTally to retrieve transaction history on your behalf. You acknowledge that SwipeTally has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the availability, accuracy, or downtime of these third-party integrations.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

SwipeTally is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fully accurate in matching credits/refunds.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SwipeTally, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or inability to use the service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will indicate changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of SwipeTally after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
